Job Overview
The Events Sales Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the business objectives of IventMaster by managing client budgets, responding to inquiries, closing deals, and ensuring a seamless handover to the event execution teams. The role focuses on the transactional and relationship maintenance aspects of the sales cycle.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming sales inquiries related to events, sponsorships, and exhibitions.
- Present and sell predefined or customized event solutions to qualified prospects.
- Prepare and issue detailed quotations, invoices and sales presentations as required.
- Engage in pricing, budgeting, and negotiation activities to close deals in alignment with company targets.
- Maintain and manage ongoing relationships with assigned corporate clients, vendors, and partners.
- Liaise with the planning and production teams to ensure accurate execution of client deliverables.
- Provide timely sales reports and updates to the Head of Business. Support post-sale activities to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a client-facing sales or account management role, preferably in events, hospitality, or media.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and close deals.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
