We are looking for a candidate who meets the following essential requirements:

1. Driving and Licensing:

Valid Driver's License: The candidate must possess a valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle used for furniture delivery (e.g., commercial driver's license if applicable).
Driving Experience: A minimum of 2 to 10 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate or structured organization, is required.
Clean Driving Record: A history free from major accidents or traffic violations is essential.

2. Education and Skills:

Minimum Education: A Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent.
Knowledge of Abuja Road Network: Comprehensive knowledge of Abuja's roads, routes, and traffic regulations is crucial for efficient and timely deliveries.
Basic Vehicle Mechanics: The ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance (e.g., checking oil, water, tire pressure) is highly valued. Vocational mechanic training would be an added advantage.
Adherence to Traffic Laws: A strong understanding and strict observance of all Nigerian traffic laws and regulations.

3. Personal Attributes:

Professionalism and Punctuality: The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times, especially when interacting with clients.
Interpersonal Skills: The ability to communicate politely and tactfully with staff and clients.
Responsibility and Integrity: A high sense of responsibility, honesty, and integrity is paramount, as the driver will be entrusted with company assets and client property.
Physical Fitness: The candidate should be physically fit, capable of handling long hours on the road, and able to assist with lifting and moving furniture or packages.

4. Additional Certifications and Checks:

Trade Test Certificate: Possession of a Trade Test Certificate (if applicable for professional drivers) is an advantage.
Security and Background Checks: The candidate must be willing to undergo thorough security and background checks, including a criminal record clearance.
Medical Fitness: A medical report confirming physical fitness to undertake driving duties will be required.
