Job Summary
Follow through on targets set by Mobilizing deposit liabilities (Fixed deposit, CASA, and Property Sales) through the different products of the bank as well as generating risk thereby creating risks revenue for the bank. Solicit/develop and maintain profitable long-term account relationships with customers.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the target set in terms of deposit liabilities, risk assets, and profit after Tax PAT/BAT is met.
- Assist in the preparation of annual sales plans and strategies to enable the team to achieve targeted growth objectives.
- Prospect and market the bank’s product to meet customer needs.
- Negotiate to convince customers to buy the bank’s product/services (liability, risk, etc.)
- Assist in the development and update of strategic plans in line with the current prevailing market realities.
- Manage and deepen relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Maintain strong interdepartmental relationships with relevant departments and follow up on transaction processing to ensure customers' instructions are attended to promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain adequate records of all transactions.
- Prompt processing of credit facilities.
- Effective collection of all PDOs
- Prompt processing of liquidation of facilities and rollovers.
- Effective relationship management
- Ensure effective relationship management with new and existing customers to improve deposit liability growth and mix
- Ensuring adequate reports are submitted on time, such as Call Memo, Audit Report, e.t.c
- Proper documentation of Direct files
- Monitoring of credit anniversary date and proper follow-up on repayment. Property Sales target must be achieved.
Requirements:
- First degree in any discipline.
- A postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
- Professional qualifications include but are not limited to the following: ACA, ACCA, CIBN, CFA etc are also added advantages.
- Knowledge of a Mortgage Bank’s operations/services/products.
- Knowledge of a Mortgage Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of a Mortgage Bank’s sales/marketing strategy and policy.
- Knowledge of financial service channels.
- Knowledge of financial instruments.
- Deal structuring skills.
- Financial & business advisory skills
- Business development/sales skills.
