We are hiring a talented and creative Chef to manage kitchen operations and prepare high-quality meals in Lekki Phase 1. The ideal candidate should be able to plan menus, lead food preparation, and maintain high standards of hygiene. Accommodation is included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare a variety of Nigerian and continental meals
- Create weekly menus in collaboration with management or household preferences
- Ensure consistent food quality and taste
- Oversee kitchen operations and junior staff (if any)
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the kitchen
- Manage inventory, stock, and food costs efficiently
- Shop for groceries or supervise supply management
- Occasionally cater to guests or special events
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef (professional or private setting)
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various cuisines
- Good leadership and kitchen management skills
- Knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety regulations
- Creativity and ability to adapt to dietary preferences
- Must be trustworthy, dependable, and available to live on-site
