Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and versatile Content Writer/Editor to join TELLPAD’s editorial team. The ideal candidate must have strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to cover a wide range of topics including politics, entertainment, music, fashion, and trending culture. This person will be responsible for producing daily articles, scripts for videos, and engaging captions that align with TELLPAD’s brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and edit daily news articles, opinion pieces, and social media captions across multiple platforms.

• Cover politics, entertainment, fashion, music, and trending cultural topics with accuracy and speed.

• Develop engaging scripts for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

• Ensure content is consistent with TELLPAD’s voice, style, and editorial standards.

• Collaborate with video editors, designers, and the social media team to align content with campaigns.

• Stay updated on breaking news, trending topics, and viral conversations to keep TELLPAD relevant and ahead.

• Proofread and fact-check all published materials to maintain credibility.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a writer/editor in media, journalism, or digital publishing.

• Strong background in writing political and entertainment content.

• Excellent command of English grammar, style, and storytelling.

• Ability to write quickly under deadlines while maintaining quality.

• Familiarity with social media content styles (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok).

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Political Science, or a related field (preferred).
