JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a leading figure in the Multimedia Production Industry, renowned for delivering rich, insightful content that shapes and celebrates the essence of Nigerian /African fashion, music, and entertainment, both locally and globally.
They are seeking a driven and solutions-oriented Client Service Executive to manage key client relationships, drive new business opportunities, and champion the end-to-end creative process, from brief intake to final delivery.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially astute, and highly organised, serving as the key liaison between clients and internal teams including strategy, graphics, content, and production. This role requires a confident communicator with a bias for action and a strong sense of ownership in protecting and promoting the agency’s reputation and value.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client needs, propose tailored media and production solutions, and ensure alignment with their brand objectives.
- Prepare and present project proposals, production timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate internal teams (creative, production, post-production) to deliver content and services on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, provide timely updates to clients, and manage expectations effectively.
- Handle feedback, revisions, and approvals to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client briefs, agreements, and communication trails.
- Identify opportunities to upsell services, retain business, and expand client accounts.
- Support billing processes by coordinating invoicing and payment follow-ups with finance.
- Contribute to the improvement of client service strategies, tools, and operations.
Client Management & Communication
- Handle client briefs, interpret needs clearly, and work closely with creative, graphics, and production teams to deliver excellence.
- Manage inquiries via email, calls, virtual meetings, and in-person sessions.
- Escalate complex issues, when necessary, within 2 hours of awareness.
- Provide regular updates and check-ins with clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Project & Traffic Coordination
- Track and manage multiple projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure briefs are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor project pipelines, flag risks early, and facilitate timely approvals or revisions.
Strategic Thinking & Commercial Growth
- Participate in team brainstorms to help shape compelling pitches and campaign ideas.
- Work with management to identify growth opportunities within client accounts.
- Proactively seek out new leads and support conversion into active clients.
- Delivery of at least one successful upselling per quarter.
Deck Building & Presentations
- Prepare engaging, strategic pitch and proposal decks tailored to client needs.
- Assist with packaging case studies and showcasing the agency’s capabilities.
- Present confidently and professionally in meetings, both internally and externally.
Client Advocacy & Feedback Loop
- Champion client perspectives while balancing business goals.
- Gather and analyse client feedback quarterly to improve service quality.
- Keep accurate client records, communications, and brief documentation.
Skills & Competency Requirements
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
- Commercially minded with basic strategic thinking ability
- Familiarity with creative production processes and marketing campaigns
- Confident using tools like PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, and project management software
- Proactive, resourceful, and team-focused
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication or a related field
- 5-6 years of experience in client service, agency account management, or sales
- Prior experience in a creative, digital, or media agency is highly desirable
- Additional certification in customer service or brand management is an advantage
