Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and supervise civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, drainage, and buildings.
• Prepare engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and compile reports on project status.
• Use software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering tools to aid design and analysis.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and troubleshoot problems on-site.
Ensure quality control and adherence to technical standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (a Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in civil engineering or construction projects.
• Professional certification (e.g., COREN registration or NSE membership) is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design, construction methods, and materials.
• Proficient in engineering software such as etc.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with local building codes and government regulations.
• Willingness to travel or relocate as the project demands.
