Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team in Abuja. The ideal candidate should have a flair for creating delicious, visually appealing meals and should be well-versed in both local and international cuisines. You will be responsible for menu planning, meal preparation, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare a variety of dishes, including Nigerian and continental meals
- Ensure timely and hygienic food preparation
- Maintain high standards of food taste, presentation, and consistency
- Supervise kitchen staff and enforce food safety protocols
- Monitor inventory and coordinate procurement of kitchen supplies
- Manage kitchen budgets, reduce waste, and control food costs
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations
- Introduce new recipes and stay updated with culinary trends
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a professional setting
- Strong knowledge of hygiene and food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership, organization, and multitasking skills
- Culinary training or certification is an added advantage
- Creative and detail-oriented with a passion
