CCTV Security Officer

Job Summary

CCTV Security Officer is responsible for overseeing all surveillance and security activities within the restaurant. This includes maintaining surveillance equipment, watching both live and recorded video surveillance footage, reporting incidents or suspicious behaviour, monitoring CCTV footage to ensure adherence to company policies, supervising the security team, managing parking operations, and supporting the Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) teams in maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment.

Responsibilities

CCTV Surveillance

• Monitor all CCTV feeds for unusual, suspicious, or non-compliant activity across FOH, BOH, and surrounding areas.
• Review footage to investigate incidents such as theft, misconduct, safety breaches, or customer complaints.
• Maintain CCTV equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
• Document and escalate any violations or incidents to management.

Security Oversight

• Supervise the activities and performance of on-site security guards.
• Ensure guards are properly stationed, in uniform, and following assigned duties.
• Conduct spot checks and regular briefings to reinforce security protocols.
• Provide immediate support in case of emergencies or disturbances.

Parking & Access Control

• Oversee parking arrangements to ensure customer-friendly, safe, and orderly vehicle movement.
• Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas, including BOH and storage.
• Coordinate with the security team to manage peak period traffic and customer entry points.

Policy Compliance

• Use CCTV monitoring to ensure FOH and BOH teams adhere to company policies, hygiene standards, and behavioral expectations.
• Identify non-compliance or unsafe practices and report for corrective action.
• Support HR/Operations in investigations with video evidence when required.

Reporting

• Maintain a daily security log including observations, incidents, staff punctuality, and system status.
• Prepare weekly reports summarizing trends, issues, and areas for improvement
• Assist with documentation for any investigations or disciplinary matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a CCTV security officer role, preferably in hospitality or retail.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and discretion.
• Confident, assertive, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦70,000.00 - ₦80,000.00 per month
