Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Channel Partner Development: Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage a network of strategic channel partners, including solar installers, EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction firms), electrical distributors, and large electrical contractors.
- Strategic Account Management: Target and secure deals with large-scale accounts such as utility companies, developers of renewable energy projects, and commercial and industrial (C&I) enterprises.
- Market Expertise: Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, regulatory incentives, and market trends affecting adoption.
- Technical Solution Selling: Conduct compelling presentations and product trainings for partners and clients, effectively communicating the technical specifications, software capabilities (like energy monitoring and grid services), and financial benefits of our integrated systems.
- Pipeline & Forecast Management: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, providing accurate and timely forecasts using our CRM.
- Focus on achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas for both hardware and attached services.
- Proposal Development: Create tailored technical and commercial proposals, including system design support, financial modeling (ROI calculations, payback periods), and incentive guidance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Technical
- Support teams to relay market feedback, ensure partner satisfaction, and drive product improvement. Industry Presence: Represent Moli Power at key industry trade shows, conferences, and association events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of proven B2B sales or business development experience, specifically within the solar PV, energy storage, inverter, or related electrical industries.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and successfully building a partner network.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and discuss topics such as AC/DC coupling, battery chemistry (LFP preferred), peak shaving, backup power, and grid services (VPPs, FREC).
- Existing relationships with key players in the solar and storage distribution and installation ecosystem.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage both technical installers and financial decision-makers.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Direct experience selling solar inverters and/or lithium battery storage systems.
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.
- Deep understanding of national and local permitting, interconnection, and incentive structures.
