Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will lead the strategic expansion of the company’s travel consulting services across Nigeria and the diaspora. The ideal candidate must possess a strong sales acumen, proven relationship-building skills and deep knowledge of the Nigerian travel landscape, including student visa processes, work permits and corporate travel needs. The role is critical to developing partnerships and individual clients while increasing brand visibility and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute Nigeria-specific business growth strategies targeting student travel, tourism, immigration service, and corporate travel management.
Lead client acquisition efforts by engaging leads for bulk travel and visa support services.
Create and manage partnerships with embassies, travel agents, airlines and logistics companies.
Conduct market research to identify profitable niches such as migration trends, summer holiday tours and relocation packages to Canada, the UK, and the UAE.
Work closely with the visa, ticketing and documentation teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Coordinate with the digital marketing team to run locally relevant campaigns across Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Google Ads.
Prepare business proposals, presentations, MOU drafts and reports.
Track KPIs such as lead conversion, monthly revenue, retention rate and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Minimum of a B.Sc./ HND degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, or related field
Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in travel, tourism, or immigration services in Nigeria.
Sound understanding of Nigerian client behavior regarding student visas, relocation, family tourism and religious travel
Ability to navigate both formal (e.g., embassies, corporate clients) and informal (e.g., youth-led startups, individual inquiries) sectors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and online productivity tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace).
Excellent spoken and written English.
