Reports to: Director of Schools | Head of Schools (HOS)
Location: Abuja, Nigeria
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:20 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional evenings/weekends for events)

Job Purpose
To lead the marketing team and spearhead business development initiatives across all arms of the organisation — Broadoaks British School, Teenee Todds Day Nursery, Camp Quest, and all related businesses present and future — with a focus on brand positioning, enrollment growth, revenue generation, and expansion into new markets. Beyond enrollment, the role will develop and execute business strategies that ensure the organisation becomes a legacy business that thrives for generations.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Development
- Develop and implement growth strategies to increase enrolments, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Drive sustainable business growth by creating opportunities that strengthen the organisation’s market position and financial stability.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and services aligned with our vision.
- Conduct market research to analyse trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and proposals for new ventures.
- Collaborate with leadership to shape expansion plans for new campuses, programs, services, and related future enterprises.
Marketing Leadership
- Lead, manage, and mentor the marketing team to deliver impactful campaigns.
- Design and execute annual marketing plans to strengthen brand visibility and achieve enrolment targets.
- Oversee all brand communications across print, digital, social media, and PR channels.
- Develop promotional materials and coordinate school events, open days, and outreach programs.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, adjusting strategies for optimal results.
Partnerships & Networking
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including parents, partner organisations, and community leaders.
- Represent the school at education fairs, networking events, and corporate engagements.
- Secure sponsorships, collaborations, and strategic alliances that align with our brand.
Data & Reporting
- Track, analyse, and report on key business and marketing metrics.
- Prepare monthly growth reports and present insights to the leadership team.
- Monitor ROI of marketing spend and recommend budget allocations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Enrolment growth across all arms of the organisation.
- Measurable increase in brand visibility and market presence.
- Achievement of revenue targets from business development initiatives.
- Successful launch of new programs, services, or branches as per expansion strategy.
- Long-term sustainability and growth of the organisation as a legacy business.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ proven experience in business development and marketing, preferably in the education, or service industry.
- Strong leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and market expansion.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree (MBA or M.Sc.) in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience in the education sector or running multiple business units.
- Digital marketing certification (Google, HubSpot, CIM) is an advantage.
