About Whispa Health
Whispa Health is a Nigerian health-tech company improving access to confidential, affordable healthcare (including sexual and reproductive healthcare). Through our WHISPA mobile and web apps, users can:
- Chat privately with licensed doctors
- Book appointments for various health conditions (including STI tests, contraception, cancer screening, and more)
- Order health products (e.g. HIV tests, condoms) and have them delivered discreetly to their homes.
- Read educational health content via our blog
We currently offer B2B solutions that help schools, fintechs, and employers provide healthcare access to their customers/clients at scale, and this is where you come in.
About the Role
Your primary responsibility is to drive business growth by finding, pursuing, and closing new and in-progress B2B opportunities. You will build and manage relationships with institutions, HMOs, companies, NGOs and other ecosystem partners. You will also support these efforts by leading targeted marketing initiatives that help drive lead generation, product adoption, and brand visibility.
This is a performance-driven role for someone who thrives on results and is confident in pitching, presenting, and delivering strategic value. This is currently a contract hire; to be considered for permanent employment with benefits, you must secure at least one new business client for Whispa Health within the first 6 months of working.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and secure partnerships with schools, fintechs, health facilities, and other corporate organisations
- Pitch Whispa Health’s tech solutions confidently to key decision-makers, both in-person and virtually
- Represent Whispa Health at industry events, pitch sessions, and client meetings
- Lead proposal development, negotiation, onboarding, and client relationship management
- Track pipeline performance and regularly report metrics to leadership
2. Marketing Supervision
- Design and run focused digital and/or traditional marketing campaigns to support business development goals
- Collaborate with design and content teams to produce compelling lead-generation materials
- Use tools like Instagram Ads, Meta Business Suite, and Mailerlite to execute and measure campaigns
- Monitor marketing impact and adjust tactics to improve ROI
What We are Looking For
- 2 to 4 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or strategic partnerships (healthcare or tech preferred)
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills—you should thrive in rooms with decision-makers
- Track record of closing deals or securing high-value partnerships
- Self-starter mindset and comfortable being accountable for tangible growth outcomes
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and data analytics tools
What can make you stand out : Experience in health-tech, pharma, HMO, B2B or SaaS sales environments in Nigeria
Work Arrangement & Compensation
- Base salary: ₦200,000 per month
- Bonus/Commission: Attractive bonuses/commission based on clear performance criteria.
- Work Mode: Remote in 2025; hybrid expected in 2026
- Location Requirement: Candidates MUST currently live in Lagos. Some travel may be needed to perform your role.
- Job Type: Contract. May be converted to permanent employment after 6 months.
