· Carry out blockwork, plastering, formwork, concrete works, tiling, roofing, and finishing tasks as per project drawings.
· Follow site instructions and interpret technical plans provided by engineers or architects.
· Operate hand and power tools required for construction tasks.
· Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
· Identify and report potential hazards and unsafe practices.
· Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned work areas.
· Collaborate with site supervisors, artisans, and subcontractors to complete tasks.
· Assist in loading and unloading construction materials and setting up tools and equipment.
· Follow daily schedules, timelines, and site instructions diligently.
· Use construction materials responsibly with minimal wastage.
· Notify supervisors of shortages, defects, or material discrepancies.
· Support in checking and recording materials delivered to site.
Qualifications:
- Trade Test Certificate, NVQ, OND, or equivalent in Building, Construction, or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in building construction (residential or commercial)
- Prior work with real estate developers or building contractors is a plus
- Proven experience in masonry, carpentry, concrete work, or finishing preferred
