Job Title: Brand Manager – Hair Care

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Brand Manager to lead our hair care category. You will be responsible for driving brand strategy, product innovation, go-to-market planning, and market share growth within the hair care and manufacturing segment. This role requires deep consumer insight, creative thinking, and strong project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute short- and long-term brand strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead new product development (NPD) from concept through launch, working closely with R&D, manufacturing, and packaging teams.
- Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation.
- Manage the brand P&L, including pricing, cost management, and profitability tracking.
- Plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns (digital, ATL, BTL) to build brand awareness and drive sales.
- Oversee packaging design, product positioning, and communication materials to ensure brand consistency.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support retail execution and promotions across modern trade, general trade, and e-commerce.
- Liaise with manufacturing to ensure product quality, availability, and innovation timelines are met.
- Analyze campaign performance, product sell-through, and brand health metrics to guide future strategy.
- Build strong relationships with external agencies, suppliers, influencers, and distributors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 4–7 years of brand management experience, preferably in the beauty, hair care, or personal care industry.
- Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management, consumer research, and market analysis.
- Experience managing creative and media agencies.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Creative flair with a commercial mindset.
Preferred Experience
- Prior work with hair treatment, relaxers, shampoos, or styling product lines.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes in the cosmetics or personal care space.
- Experience in both traditional and digital marketing, including influencer and content-driven campaigns.
