Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to develop and scale the backend systems that power SocialAI Pro. You’ll be responsible for architecting high-performance APIs, real-time features, and AI integrations for a platform serving thousands of users in the social media and e-commerce automation space.

Core Technologies

• Node.js, Express 5, TypeScript
• Prisma ORM, PostgreSQL/MySQL
• AWS (S3, Secrets Manager, KMS)
• WebSockets (Socket.io)
• Message queues (Bull, Redis, Kafka)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs for the platform.
• Design and maintain microservices architecture .
• Implement real-time features using WebSockets.
• Integrate AI models and agents (OpenAI API, LangChain, TensorFlow.js).
• Build and maintain message queuing systems for background processing.
• Optimize database queries and migrations .
• Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth).
• Ensure security best practices , encryption, and compliance (GDPR).
• Maintain DevOps pipelines with Docker, PM2, CI/CD.
• Collaborate with frontend and AI engineers to deliver end-to-end features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript .
• Experience with scalable SaaS platforms .
• Proven ability to work with real-time and high-traffic systems .
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration in backend workflows.

Nice to Have:

• AWS certifications or equivalent cloud expertise.
• Familiarity with container orchestration.
Experience with performance monitoring tools (Sentry, OpenTelemetry).
