Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Auto Electrician to join our Workshop & Maintenance team. The role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the electrical wiring and electronic components of trucks, trailers, and other company vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with heavy-duty vehicle electrical systems and strong diagnostic skills to ensure safe and efficient fleet operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and electronic systems in trucks and trailers.
- Install and maintain electrical components such as batteries, alternators, starter motors, lighting systems, and ignition systems.
- Diagnose and repair electronic systems including sensors, dashboard indicators, and control units.
- Test and calibrate vehicle electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on electrical systems.
- Repair and replace faulty wiring, switches, relays, and connectors.
- Work with mechanics, panel beaters, and welders to support integrated vehicle repairs.
- Maintain records of electrical inspections, repairs, and replacements.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations.
- Advise management on electrical parts requirements and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Requirements:
- Technical diploma, vocational certificate, or equivalent qualification in Auto Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as an Auto Electrician (experience with haulage trucks, trailers, or heavy-duty vehicles preferred).
- Skilled in using diagnostic equipment and electrical testing tools.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electronic systems (ignition, lighting, charging, and control modules).
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot under pressure.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Physically fit and safety-conscious.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
