Singles Oasis International Foundation (SOI Foundation) is a social enterprise focused on skills development, entrepreneurial mindset, and technological innovations to solve employment issues. Starting in 2024, our efforts will be aligned with United Nations SDG 8, aiming to create decent, sustainable, and meaningful employment for all. We create jobs for youths and women as rural researchers, volunteers, micro entrepreneurs, and local program implementing associates. Collaborating with for-profit and nonprofit sectors, we drive job creation across multiple industries. Our multidisciplinary, fully remote team operates from Nigeria and the UK, fostering a unique and inclusive work culture.
Role Description
This is a part time remote role for an Advisory Board Member. The Advisory Board Member will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and insights to support the foundation's mission and goals. Key tasks include participating in board meetings, advising on financial and operational planning, supporting fundraising initiatives, contributing to marketing strategies, and conducting relevant research. The role requires active collaboration with fellow board members and management to drive job creation and employment opportunities.
