Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Process payments, invoices, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash records.
- Assist with payroll preparation and salary disbursement.
- Support in preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
- Track expenses and ensure they are categorised appropriately.
- Assist the accountant with audits and financial reviews.
- Maintain and organise physical and digital files.
- Manage office supplies and inventory.
- Handle documentation such as staff attendance, leave forms, and reimbursements.
- Support onboarding of new staff (document collection, orientation scheduling).
- Ensure utilities, subscriptions, and vendor payments are up to date.
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and landlords as required. Draft basic correspondence and internal memos.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Zoho or Excel).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
