Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Process payments, invoices, and receipts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and petty cash records.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and salary disbursement.
  • Support in preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Track expenses and ensure they are categorised appropriately.
  • Assist the accountant with audits and financial reviews.
  • Maintain and organise physical and digital files.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory.
  • Handle documentation such as staff attendance, leave forms, and reimbursements.
  • Support onboarding of new staff (document collection, orientation scheduling).
  • Ensure utilities, subscriptions, and vendor payments are up to date.
  • Liaise with vendors, service providers, and landlords as required.
  • Draft basic correspondence and internal memos.


Requirements:

  • Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Zoho or Excel).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
