Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Truck Driver at Contemporary Group Limited (CGL), located in Lagos. The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting construction materials and equipment to various project sites, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Key tasks include inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns, adhering to all transportation laws and regulations, maintaining accurate delivery records, and assisting. The Truck Driver will also communicate effectively with the logistics team and clients to ensure efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license and clean driving record
• Experience in driving trucks (man diesel, Howo, etc..)
• Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and identify mechanical issues
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Physical ability to load and unload materials
• Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training is a plus
