Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Student Recruitment Officer to oversee all aspects of student recruitment within our organisation. The Student Recruitment officer will be responsible for optimizing the conversion process for prospective students or users of our educational technology products. This role focuses on turning leads into active users or enrolled students by implementing strategies to enhance user engagement and maximize conversion rates. The Student Recruitment Officer will work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to drive successful outcomes and improve the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Student Placement Management:

  • Manage the entire placement process for students at our partner institutions and career centers.
  • Provide guidance on academic programmes, admission requirements, and visa procedures.


Relationship Building:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with partner institutions, feeder organisations, and educational agents.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for student placement inquiries, ensuring proactive communication.

Sales Performance and Target Achievement:

  • Develop and implement student recruitment strategies to meet enrollment targets across study destinations.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts to promote Dixon and Ricks' educational offerings and enhance brand visibility.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with in-country management teams, admissions officers, and other stakeholders to streamline student placement processes.
  • Closely collaborate and coordinate with designated partners for logistics, visa application and orientation programmes.
  • Coordinate and participate in fairs on behalf of Dixon & Ricks.


Lead Management:

  • Manage and nurture leads from initial inquiry through to application and enrollment, for university placement and the Career Centre, using Dixon & Ricks CRM tools to track interactions, follow-ups, and progress.
  • Design and execute tactics to improve the conversion rate of leads into enrolled students. This includes personalised communication, targeted offers, and addressing prospective students' concerns.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of student applications and enrollment trends using Dixon & Ricks CRM.
  • Generate reports on KPIs, enrollment metrics, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration/Marketing & Education.
  • Strong IT skills – Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems.
  • Experience in education and counselling will be an added advantage
  • Excellent Knowledge in the EdTech industry
