Job Role: Strategic Research Analyst
Job Description:
As part of the Strategic Growth Team, the Strategic Research Analyst plays a pivotal role in facilitating the delivery of strategic projects within budget, on time, and within scope under the Primegauge Solutions umbrella. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to solve challenges and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
In addition to the above, the analyst will create internal OKRs and SLAs that hold our teams to ambitious performance standards. Other responsibilities would include;
- Spearhead forward-looking research on industry trends, policy developments, competitor activity, and market shifts to inform organizational strategy and planning.
- Produce high-impact strategic reports, white papers, and briefing notes that translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Provide strategic input into business planning processes by identifying growth opportunities, risks, and emerging areas of interest aligned with the company’s objectives.
- Guide the implementation and utilization of business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), ensuring alignment with business priorities. Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure dashboards and tools are fit-for-purpose, rather than hands-on development.
- Work closely with product, marketing, communications, and executive teams to ensure insights are integrated into operational and strategic decision-making processes.
- Use tools such as Canva to create polished, visually engaging reports, strategy decks, and presentations that communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct high-level analyses of government policies, legislative updates, and sectoral programs to extract implications for the business and ensure alignment with regulatory and development goals.
- Drive innovation in strategic thinking by identifying knowledge gaps, proposing new research agendas, and embedding a culture of foresight and evidence-based planning.
- Provide strategic-level performance insights and benchmarking analyses using pre-developed tools and metrics, focusing on interpretation and communication rather than raw data processing.
- Support internal stakeholders in understanding and applying business intelligence tools and strategic insights through tailored guidance and internal briefings.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Strategic Management, Business Administration, Development Studies, Public Policy, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in strategy, research, business intelligence, or related advisory roles.
- Demonstrated ability to translate research into practical insights for executive decision-making.
- Proven track record of producing executive briefs, high-quality reports, and strategic communication materials.
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) from a strategy oversight perspective; hands-on data analysis skills are a plus, not a requirement.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Adept at creating visually engaging deliverables using tools like Canva or PowerPoint.
