Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for implementing individualized education programs for students with special needs. Tasks include creating lesson plans, delivering instruction, assessing student progress, writing reports and collaborating with other educators and parents. The role involves adapting teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs, providing a supportive learning environment, and ensuring that all students have access to the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Skills in Special Education and working with Disabilities
• Experience in Teaching and Middle School education
• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to use ICT
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Experience in inclusive education practices
Certification in Special Education is preferred
