Solar Home System (SHS) Installer
Job Summary
Please note: We are recruiting for multiple locations.Applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to the specified areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission SHS components (solar panels, batteries, DC appliances, wiring, etc.) per company and manufacturer standards.
- Troubleshoot system faults and escalate where necessary.
- Follow all safety and compliance procedures during installations.
- Provide basic training to end users on SHS system usage and maintenance.
- Document completed work, tools used, and customer feedback.
- Communicate field updates to sales supervisors and team leads. Support proper inventory handling and product care.

Requirements
- Minimum of O-Level (WAEC or NECO)and OND/Technical Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Electrical installation certification (Trade Test, NABTEB, etc.).
- 1–3 years of proven experience in solar system installation (especially SHS and off-grid projects). Familiarity with DC wiring, PV modules, inverters, charge controllers, and battery systems.

Skills & Competencies
- Strong practical knowledge of solar kit installation and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and installation manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strongattention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to work in rural or off-grid areas with minimal supervision. Time management and adaptability in a dynamic field environment.
