Job Description/Requirements
BettingJobs is partnering with a new brand launching in Nigeria, this is a senior level role which will help set-up and run their operation. They are looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team based in Lagos .
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the social media content strategy across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Telegram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Conceptualize, produce, and publish engaging content (copy, visuals, videos, stories, livestreams, etc.).
- Manage the editorial calendar aligned with key sports events and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative teams, influencers, ambassadors, partners, and digital media.
- Monitor, moderate, and animate the community daily (DMs, comments, etc.).
- Drive organic growth and increase content virality. Analyse performance using reporting tools (engagement, reach, traffic, conversions). Maintain ongoing market watch on digital trends, competitors, user behaviors, and innovations in the industry.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in entertainment, sports, or online gaming.
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and their algorithms.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, etc.) and analytics platforms (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, etc.).
- Creative, autonomous, and proactive. We want someone who brings bold ideas to the table.
- Passionate about sports, sports betting, and the digital world. Fluent in English (knowledge of a local language or another international language is a plus).
