Singles Oasis International Foundation (SOI Foundation) is a social enterprise dedicated to solving employment issues through skills development, entrepreneurial mindset, and technological innovations. From 2024, our focus will be on United Nations SDG 8, aiming to create decent, sustainable, and meaningful employment for all. We create jobs for youth and women as rural researchers, volunteers, micro entrepreneurs, and local program implementing associates. Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a Social Media and Communication Officer. The Social Media and Communication Officer will be responsible for crafting and managing press releases, developing strategic communications strategies, maintaining media relations, and producing high-quality written content. The role involves managing SOI Foundation's social media presence, creating engaging content, and fostering communication across various platforms.
Qualifications
- Skills in Press Releases, Media Relations, and Communication
- Experience in Strategic Communications
- Proficient in Writing
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation tools
- Passion for social impact and community development Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field is a plus
