Job Brief:
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and laborers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings; maintain full presence on-site throughout the project duration.
- Understand all aspects of the project, including client expectations, and act accordingly to deliver on scope and quality.
- Conduct and document regular quality assurance and safety inspections, ensuring HSE compliance and functional tools/equipment.
- Maintain and update pre-construction documents; monitor contract obligations and build relationships with dependable vendors and contractors.
- Provide technical advice and suggestions for improvements; respond promptly to delays, emergencies, and disruptions.
- Oversee all on-site and off-site activities to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Select tools, materials, and equipment, monitor their use, and report any shortages or missing items immediately.
- Review work progress daily and provide timely updates on the designated project channel.
- Prepare and share internal and external job status reports with all stakeholders.
- Monitor expenses and ensure project costs (labor, materials, equipment, contractors) remain within budget.
- Raise site requests and follow up for necessary approvals.
- Communicate all design or schedule changes to relevant parties before implementation.
Required Competencies
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Building Technology, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing interior fit-out projects, preferably with premium or high-end commercial clients.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and contract documents.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, project planning techniques, and scheduling best practices.
