We are seeking a Shift In-Charge to lead utility operations during assigned shifts, ensuring continuous water supply and treatment for mining activities. The role covers Raw Water Reservoir & Pumping Station, Bore Wells, Treated Water Reservoir & Pump House, and the Water Treatment Plant (WTP).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate plant operators during the shift.
- Monitor pumps, valves, and treatment processes to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to breakdowns and abnormal conditions promptly.
- Maintain shift logs, meter readings, and reports.
- Enforce safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
- OND/Diploma/BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Water Resources, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in water supply or treatment plant operations (mining/industrial preferred).
- Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a mining environment on rotating shifts.
