About The Role
The Sales Support Specialist will provide operational and administrative support to the sales team, ensuring a smooth sales process from inquiry to delivery.
Responsibilities
Sales Process Coordination: Work closely with the sales team to manage the entire sales cycle, from handling initial inquiries to ensuring timely delivery of products/services.
Proposal & Quotation Preparation: Draft, format, and send professional proposals, quotations, and sales documents that align with company branding and pricing standards.
CRM Management: Maintain and update the customer relationship management system with accurate client details, order statuses, and communication logs.
Client Communication: Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing product information, pricing, and order updates.
Order Tracking & Follow-Up: Monitor order progress, liaise with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery, and follow up with customers post-delivery for feedback.
Internal Liaison: Coordinate with finance, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth order processing and resolve any bottlenecks quickly.
Sales Reporting: Compile and submit weekly/monthly sales activity and performance reports for management review.
Market Research Support: Assist in gathering customer feedback, competitor information, and market trends to support sales strategy.
Inventory Monitoring: Work with the warehouse team to track stock availability and communicate shortages or replenishment needs to sales staff.
After-Sales Support: Assist with handling customer complaints or returns in a professional and timely manner.
Event & Presentation Support – Help prepare sales presentations, product displays, and marketing materials for trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Requirements
- OND/HND/BSc in Business or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales support or administration.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
