Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Executive Assistant to support both human resources functions and executive-level operations at Fame Lagos. This role is perfect for a highly organized individual who can balance people management with administrative precision.
You will assist with HR processes, coordinate staff activities, and work closely with management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. A strong command of Microsoft Office tools—especially Excel—is essential, as you will be tracking costs per project and preparing reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Human Resources
- Manage recruitment processes (posting job ads, screening candidates, scheduling interviews).
- Onboard and train new employees, ensuring they understand company policies and culture.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Track attendance, leave, and performance reviews.
- Executive Support
- Assist the Managing Director with scheduling, meeting preparation, and correspondence.
- Coordinate between management and team members to ensure tasks are executed on time.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documents as required.
- Finance & Project Costing
- Use Excel to record and track costs per project/event.
- Prepare cost summaries for management review.
- Work with the accounts team to ensure accuracy in cost and revenue tracking.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) — advanced Excel skills preferred (formulas, pivot tables, data entry).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in hospitality, events, or catering industry.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and Nigerian labour regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦230,000.00 per month
