The Role
We’re looking for a charismatic and strategic Sales Manager to own and scale our event catering partnerships. This isn’t just a sales job—it’s about becoming the go-to contact for Nigeria’s top event planners, venues, and high-value clients. Your mission is to ensure that when people think of catering, they think of FoodCourt.
Key Responsibilities
1. Relationship Building & Partnerships
Cultivate and grow long-term relationships with event planners, venue managers, corporate admins, and individual clients.Attend networking events, site visits, and tastings to represent the FoodCourt brand with charm and confidence.
Establish FoodCourt as the preferred catering partner for top venues and planners.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
Lead the end-to-end sales process: from prospecting and lead qualification to pitch, proposal, negotiation, and close.Design and tailor event catering packages that meet client needs while protecting internal margins.
Track, analyze, and exceed sales KPIs and growth targets.
3. Lead Generation & Management
Proactively source new leads through cold outreach, industry events, inbound channels, and referrals.Maintain an organized sales pipeline and CRM system, ensuring follow-ups and conversions are always on track.
4. Client Retention & Upselling
Build trust through excellent service and follow-through, ensuring FoodCourt remains their first choice for future events.Drive repeat business and referrals by delivering memorable, high-quality catering experiences.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
Work cross-functionally with the culinary and operations teams to ensure proposals are realistic and flawlessly executed.Negotiate and manage commission structures with planners and venues.
Submit weekly reports detailing pipeline status, conversion rates, and actionable insights.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years experience in sales, business development, or client partnerships (preferably in events, catering, or hospitality).A persuasive, well-spoken, and personable communicator with strong negotiation skills.
High emotional intelligence, with a natural talent for building relationships and earning trust.
Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent organizational skills and comfort with managing multiple leads simultaneously.
A social, well-connected individual who enjoys mingling, pitching, and being the face of a brand.
