JOB TITLE: Sales/Partnership Associate (Event Sales and sponsorship)
Location: Lagos (Hybrid)
Salary: ₦350,000 + Commission
Job Summary
We’re hiring Sales/Partnership Associates to help power some of Africa’s most exciting conferences, expos, and high-level convenings. This role is ideal for confident, results-orientated professionals who know how to pitch value, build relationships, and close sponsorship deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pitch to potential sponsors, partners, and exhibitors for flagship events
- Secure high-value sponsorships across sectors including finance, tech, governance, and development
- Cultivate and manage relationships with senior corporate decision-makers
- Collaborate with marketing, events, and content teams to deliver on partnership expectations
- Maintain and update sales pipeline, track progress, and meet revenue targets
Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in B2B sales, sponsorships, partnerships, or media sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed targets
- Familiarity with event sales, conference sponsorships, or industry expos is an advantage
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive under deadlines
- Professional demeanor with confidence to engage C-level executives
