We are hiring a smart and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our growing fashion retail team in Opebi, Ikeja. This role involves engaging both walk-in and online customers, ensuring a seamless shopping experience across all touchpoints. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales
- Greet and attend to walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist customers in choosing fashion pieces that suit their style and needs
- Promote and upsell products to drive sales
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
- Ensure excellent in-store customer service at all times
Online Customer Experience
- Respond promptly to online inquiries via Instagram, WhatsApp, and other platforms
- Process online orders, confirm payments, and coordinate deliveries
- Follow up on customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally
- Keep customers updated on new arrivals, promos, and restocks
Store & Inventory Support
- Maintain proper arrangement and display of items in the store
- Support inventory checks, tagging, and restocking
- Assist with visual merchandising and preparing items for content creation or online posts
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE; OND or relevant retail experience is a plus
- At least 1 year experience in a similar retail or online sales role
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written
- Familiar with Instagram, WhatsApp Business, and basic online sales tools
- Presentable, courteous, and passionate about fashion
- Must be proactive and able to multitask under pressure
