Are you experienced in field recovery and passionate about maintaining strong customer relationships, even in challenging situations? Koolboks is looking for a Repossession Officer to join our growing team in Ajah and Ikorodu!
Job Summary:
As a Repossession Officer, you will be responsible for locating and reclaiming Koolboks products from customers with overdue accounts. This role involves on-the-ground investigations, professional recovery of products, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless processes — all while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Locate and recover Koolboks products from defaulting customers.
- Conduct field visits to assess product status.
- Negotiate with customers for voluntary returns or resolve outstanding issues.
- Ensure all recoveries are handled lawfully and respectfully.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation (photos, reports, etc.).
- Collaborate with collections, legal, and logistics teams.
- Provide daily reports on assigned recovery cases.
- Stay informed on laws governing debt collection.
- Handle customer concerns professionally.
- Ensure care and safety of products during retrieval and transport.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in any relevant field.
- Prior experience in field recovery or repossession is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel as required.
- High integrity and a professional approach.
