We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for projects

• Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost planning and control

• Prepare and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers

• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and costs

• Identify and mitigate project risks

• Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers

• Prepare and submit project reports and cost analyses

• preparation of bill of quantities and material/ labour schedules

• preparation of bid documents and tender process
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

• Minimum of 7 years cognate experience in quantity surveying

• Professional certification (MNIQS) is mandatory

• Strong knowledge of construction costs, current industry prices, contracts, and regulations

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., Autodesk, CostX)
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• First degree in Quantity Surveying.

• Experience with multi-storey projects and contracts

• Knowledge of building information modeling (BIM)
