Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our food and beverage manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, meeting production targets, and driving continuous improvement across the production floor. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven background in food or beverage manufacturing.

Job Description/Requirements
- Lead, supervise, and motivate production staff to achieve departmental objectives.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
Production Operations Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production schedules to meet output targets.
- Optimize the use of raw materials, equipment, and manpower for efficiency. Identify and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime.
Quality & Food Safety Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and HACCP standards.
- Conduct inspections to ensure product quality meets customer and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:
- Promote and enforce safe work practices across the production floor.
- Conduct regular safety checks, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with HSE policies. Respond promptly to accidents or incidents, preparing necessary reports.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and performance metrics.
- Track key production indicators (KPIs) such as yield, downtime, waste, and labor efficiency. Present regular reports to management on production performance and challenges.
Requirements:
- Education: B.Sc./HND in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, or related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP/manufacturing software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to stand, walk, and supervise operations on the production floor for extended periods.
