Role Overview
The Procurement Lead will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of procurement activities—from sourcing and vendor management to contract negotiation, compliance, and inventory coordination. This role is vital in ensuring that goods and services are procured efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process including sourcing, negotiation, and contracting.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and regularly evaluate supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Coordinate procurement planning with department heads, especially clinical and engineering teams.
- Work closely with inventory and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and proper documentation.
- Track market trends and suggest cost-effective purchasing alternatives. Prepare procurement reports and analysis for management decision-making.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare or FMCG environment.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Solid understanding of procurement regulations and ethical sourcing practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or procurement software. Membership or certification with a recognised procurement body (e.g. CIPS, NIPSM) is an added advantage.
