The Power Solutions Analyst plays a critical role in analyzing operational and technical data to support the performance and sustainability of power systems across ATC Nigeria’s portfolio. This role involves identifying trends, diagnosing anomalies, and recommending actionable solutions to improve efficiency and align with strategic energy goals. The analyst ensures timely and accurate reporting in compliance with sustainability targets and supports continuous improvement initiatives within the Power Solutions team.
The role reports directly to the Manager, Power Solutions Tech and Support, and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Analyze operational and technical data from implemented power solutions to identify performance trends and efficiency opportunities.
- Detect and investigate data outliers or inconsistencies, providing insights and recommendations to resolve configuration or operational issues.
- Track and report progress against Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) goals on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Interprete data from site power equipment including monitoring systems, rectifier and generator controllers, AMF/ATS, solar controllers, and lithium-ion batteries to ensure optimal configuration.
- Develop and present advanced reports that highlight key findings, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and reporting aligned with ATC Nigeria’s power, energy, and sustainability objectives.
- Collaborate with the Power Solutions Specialists and Manager to propose and implement data-driven initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ATC Site Monitoring Systems and Oracle Data Visualizer.
- Knowledge of power systems and equipment used in telecom infrastructure.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting, including greenhouse gas emissions and SBTi scopes.
- Understanding of big data analytics and AI-supported decision systems.
- Ability to work independently in remote or undeveloped areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High learning agility and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in telecommunications, engineering, power systems, or sustainability reporting.
