Key Responsibilities
1. Dispense medications and provide patient counseling on proper use, side effects, and potential interactions.
2. Review prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.
3. Maintain patient records and confidentiality.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
5. Stay up-to-date with new medications, treatments, and technologies.
6. Participate in staff training and development programs.
7. Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
8. Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent.
2. Current licensure to practice pharmacy in Nigeria.
3. Minimum 2 years of post-graduation experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
4. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and pharmacy laws.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software.
