Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of all heavy equipment
• Coordinate and manage equipment inspection schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety and operating procedures
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and practices
• Train staff on equipment operation and safety procedures
• Supervise and manage equipment personnel
• Manage equipment inventory and procurement processes
• Coordinate with project managers to schedule equipment usage
• Prepare reports on equipment utilisation and condition
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards

Requirements:

• 5 years of proven work experience as a Heavy Equipment Manager or similar role
• Experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance
• Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage inventory and procurement processes
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field

Additional Information:

• Work Environment: This position is primarily field-based, with occasional office work.
• Regular travel to different project sites may be required.
• Reporting Structure: Reports to the Operations Director or equivalent.
Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Remuneration: NGN 300,000 - 400,000
