Rotic Aluminium Extrusion is seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Payroll Administrator to manage payroll processing and employee compensation records. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate salary calculations, statutory deductions, and timely disbursement, while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with Nigerian labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process payroll for all employees on a monthly basis
- Maintain up-to-date employee compensation records, including allowances, bonuses, and deductions
- Calculate statutory deductions, and ensure timely remittance to the appropriate bodies
- Collaborate with HR to reflect promotions, new hires, terminations, and leave adjustments in payroll
- Manage timesheet data, overtime claims, and shift differentials
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee salary-related issues professionally and promptly
- Generate monthly payroll reports for Finance and Management
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, labor regulations, and internal payroll policies
- Support external payroll audits and regulatory inspections
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and data protection
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a manufacturing or structured organization
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax, pension, and payroll compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas)
- Experience using payroll software or ERP
- High attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Discretion, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive information
