Job Summary:
A reputable restaurant in Surulere is seeking a creative and skilled Pastry Chef to prepare a wide variety of desserts, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods. The ideal candidate should be passionate about baking, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts.
- Develop new recipes and seasonal menus in line with customer preferences.
- Ensure all baked goods meet quality and presentation standards.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and place orders as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Train and guide kitchen assistants where necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker.
- Expertise in pastry preparation, decorating, and plating techniques.
- Creativity and ability to innovate new dessert concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
