Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Partnerships & Affiliates Manager to lead and expand our network of affiliate and business development partners. This role will be responsible for relationship management, deal tracking, and ensuring partner performance aligns with revenue goals. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure deals are optimised, commissions are paid on time, and partnerships contribute meaningfully to business growth.
Key Responsibilities 1. Affiliate & Partner Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all affiliate and business development partners.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships that foster trust and performance.
- Ensure partners feel supported, aligned with our brand, and motivated to deliver results.
- Host regular check-ins to share updates, review performance, and provide feedback.
2. Deal Pipeline Oversight & Revenue Tracking
- Monitor and manage the flow of leads and deals generated through partners.
- Work with the sales and operations teams to ensure partner-sourced leads are followed up promptly and effectively.
- Track partner contributions to the sales pipeline and overall revenue.
- Identify blockers or bottlenecks in closing partner deals and work cross-functionally to resolve them.
3. Partner Performance & Reporting
- Develop performance dashboards or trackers to assess partner output (deals, revenue, engagement, etc.).
- Regularly analyse data to identify high- and low-performing partners.
- Provide performance feedback and growth strategies to underperforming partners.
- Share monthly/quarterly performance reports with leadership.
4. Commission & Payout Management
- Work with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate calculation of commissions.
- Maintain a reliable commission tracking system.
- Proactively communicate payout schedules to partners.
- Resolve any commission-related queries or disputes.
5. Partner Onboarding & Enablement
- Develop and manage a smooth onboarding process for new affiliate and BD partners.
- Provide marketing assets, product training, and deal support materials.
- Continuously update partners on new features, pricing, or service offerings.
- Equip partners with FAQs, pitch templates, and other resources to improve close rates.
6. Growth & Optimisation
- Identify and onboard new affiliate or BD partners to grow the partner network.
- Recommend tools, strategies, or campaigns to improve partner performance.
- Run experiments or A/B tests to optimise referral or partnership models.
- Research industry trends and competitor programs to stay ahead.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and finance teams to execute partner initiatives.
- Provide partner insights that can shape sales or product strategies.
- Ensure all departments are aligned on goals and timelines involving partner deals. Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams to resolve challenges quickly.
- Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or account management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritise effectively.
- Experience with CRM systems and performance reporting tools.
- Highly organised, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
