Are you a confident, charismatic storyteller with a passion for broadcast journalism? Do you want to be the face of Africa’s only 24/7 housing and real estate news channel?
Housing TV Africa is looking for a dynamic TV News Reporter/Presenter to join our team and deliver trusted, timely, and impactful stories on Housing, Real Estate, Mortgages, and Construction across the continent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Anchor and produce daily news bulletins focused on housing and real estate.
- Write, edit, and present news stories for live broadcasts.
- Conduct interviews, on-site reports, and in-depth features.
- Collaborate closely with producers and editors for high-quality content. Stay ahead of trends and developments in the housing sector.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of anchoring experience on a recognized TV station.
- Strong reporting, writing, and on-camera presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong research and interviewing skills
- Demonstrated experience in news reporting and journalism
- Knowledge of housing, real estate, mortgages, property, and construction is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- Experience in video editing and production is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends
