Job Title : Loan call and monitoring officer

RESPONSIBILITY:
- Client Communication: Regularly call borrowers to remind them of upcoming or overdue payments.
- Collections Support: Follow up on delinquent accounts to ensure timely repayment and minimize defaults.
- Customer Service: Address client inquiries regarding loan terms, payment schedules, and account status.
- Payment Arrangements: Negotiate and arrange payment plans with borrowers facing difficulties.
- Call Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all communication with clients for audit and reference purposes.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Track loan performance and identify early warning signs of potential default.
- Compliance Checks: Ensure loan agreements are being followed and that borrowers comply with covenants.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on loan portfolio status, NPLs (non-performing loans), and collection progress.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates should possess an SSCE/OND / HND / B.Sc qualification with 0 - 1 years work experience.
- Previous experience in tele-collections or Customer Service will be an added advantage
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written, especially for engaging with clients.
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills – to handle delinquent borrowers tactfully.
- Attention to detail – essential for tracking loan data and monitoring repayment.
- Analytical skills – to assess risk and loan performance.
