Job Summary
The Legal Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that the company adheres strictly to all legal and regulatory obligations, particularly in areas related to anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CTF), and counter-proliferation financing (CPF) regulations.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibiliities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective compliance programs in line with AML, CTF, and CPF obligations.
- Monitor internal operations to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Lead regular reviews and audits of the compliance framework and processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings with CAC and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with SCUML, EFCC, NFIU, and other regulatory authorities as required, ensuring prompt response to inquiries and compliance checks.
- Conduct risk assessments and report on compliance-related risks and mitigation strategies.
- Serve as a point of contact for regulatory inspections, audits, and reviews.
- Support the Company Secretariat on corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters.
- Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs across the organization. Keep abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and advise management on changes that may impact operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in legal or regulatory compliance roles, preferably within the financial services, consulting, or legal advisory sectors.
- Strong experience in dealing with SCUML, including registration, reporting obligations, and regulatory correspondence
