Job Brief
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our client’s hotel operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, pressing, and finishing of hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry items while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will operate and maintain laundry equipment efficiently, adhering to the culture of excellence in service delivery.
What You Will Be Doing
- Operate washing machines, dryers, steamers, and pressing equipment safely and effectively.
- Sort laundry items by fabric type, color, and cleaning method.
- Inspect linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments for stains or damage before and after washing.
- Apply stain removal techniques when necessary.
- Fold, press, and package clean laundry neatly and professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry area.
- Report any equipment faults or damage to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to hotel laundry policies and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure timely delivery of clean items to the relevant departments or guest rooms.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum OND in any discipline.
- 2-3 years of proven laundry experience in reputable hotels.
- Proficiency in operating commercial laundry machines and equipment.
- High attention to detail.
- Neat and well-groomed appearance.
- Good communication skills.
