Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Staff Management: The candidate will support the supervision of kitchen staff, including tasks such as scheduling, training, and providing performance feedback.
- Food Preparation and Quality Control: The candidate will learn to oversee food preparation, ensuring that recipes and preparation instructions are followed correctly, and monitor food quality and presentation.
- Safety and Sanitation: Candidate will learn to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Candidate will assist in monitoring inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies, and proper storage and rotation of food products.
- Equipment Maintenance: Candidate will learn to ensure kitchen equipment is in good working order and participate in routine maintenance.
- Assisting with Menu Planning: Candidate may assist in menu development and planning, learning about cost control and menu engineering.
- Following Regulations: Candidate will learn to adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
