Job Overview
A fast-growing digital learning platform is looking for an experienced Virtual Assistant (VA) Tutor to develop and deliver a self-paced online course that teaches beginners how to become effective remote virtual assistants. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging, step-by-step tutorials using widely-used tools.
Key Responsibilities
Design a practical, job-ready course curriculum for aspiring Virtual Assistants
Record short screen-based video tutorials using VA tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Notion, Trello, Zoom, Canva, Calendly, etc.)
Create bite-sized quizzes, checklists, and downloadable templates
Provide beginner-friendly guides for real-world VA tasks: calendar management, email sorting, research, task tracking, etc.
Keep the content focused, tool-based, and action-driven — no fluff
Make the learning journey feel real with industry-standard examples and mock scenarios
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a remote operations/admin support role
Strong working knowledge of core VA tools and apps
Ability to explain tech tools in simple terms
Good screen-recording or content creation skills
Ability to organize, structure, and present lessons clearly
Independent and deadline-oriented
Bonus: Experience working with global clients or in a remote startup environment
Bonus: Familiarity with AI productivity tools like ChatGPT, Notion AI, etc.
