As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to the financial health and integrity of the organization.
Position Overview
The Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of Tech4mation and its subsidiaries. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable/receivable, processing payroll, assisting with audits, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for Tech4mation and its subsidiaries.
- Record daily financial transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, bill payments, vendor/customer reconciliations, and inventory.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow regularly.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and expense tracking.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Payroll & Employee Expenses
- Process staff payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Track staff allowances, loans, and reimbursements.
- Monitor staff transport/airtime allowances and provide financial reports as required.
Support Across Subsidiaries
- Collaborate with finance officers across NativeTalk, Cybervilla, and Connekt Broadband to consolidate financial records.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to management for decision-making.
- Ensure each subsidiary maintains proper financial discipline and reporting.
General Finance Administration
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents (digital and physical).
- Liaise with banks, tax authorities, vendors, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Provide support for financial audits, compliance checks, and operational reviews.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks, Sage, or Odoo experience is an added advantage).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct.

Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦250,000.00 per month
